Kitty Insomnia

"When my body refused to sleep, my mind flew away finding you, in the ocean of my thoughts."

Hello freaks! And a Happy Birthday to my aunty B who celebrated her......errr....48th birthday today? Sorry, no idea on the age part. Plus, it's considered rude to ask someone's age right? Heck~

Earlier me and Tiqa was planning to go to Sunway Piramid for our shopping session. By noon when she's back from school, we dressed up and off we go. Uncle drop us and we're on our own. Today's mission was to find a part-time job at the mall, namely all the suitable retail stores. (disclaimer: I used to work for events and waitressing but never retail stores or boutique.)

Ahha. This would be my first so why not give it a try. First stop was Miss Selfridge then Diva and the next few stores I honestly don't remember their names. (I don't shop for branded clothing hence I don't quite be bothered by their names.) All I know that I went in Forever 21 and applied for a job. They ask me to leave my name, IC no. and my phone number on a piece of paper promised to get back to me if the supervisor decided to adore me for this job. So yea, it wasn't that hard huh. I'll just pray I get it somehow.

We spend the entire evening walking around Asian Avenue hunting for my brother's prom mask. He insists on having a white plastic full mask which they don't have it, so I end up calling him to reconfirm what he wants, the half white mask or the full glow in the dark mask. White was his choice. Ok, bought it. By the time I was having lunch at Korean Corner in Asian Avenue, my bro texted me saying he wanted the glow in the dark and asked me if I could buy another for his friend. pfft~ Sorry bro, can't do so. I'm out of cash to spend for your friend.

Here we are at the Korean Corner having lunch. ^.^

the tok-bokki is nice. spicy!

my bulgogi bibimbap. yummy~

Lunch was good and satisfying but dinner was about to come too soon. A few hours later, aunty B called Tiqa to asked us to meet her at Sushi King. It's her birthday and we're planning to celebrate it. My tummy was about to burst but thinking that we're going to have sushi, I try to compress the fullness in me. (if there's even such a thing to do.) By the time we rushed to Sushi King, it was full-house. We ended up a few blocks away at Sake Sushi. (their mascot is that green frog who never fails to smile awkwardly.) I ate there once with my oppa at IOI Mall last year. It was ok but Sushi King and Sushi Zenmai is still the best for me. Dinner wasn't that great I have to admit. It wasn't because I'm still full from lunch, but the service at Sake Sushi was kind of bad and slow, my aunt didn't really fancy the food that they served, (lack of variety and taste according to her), and the list goes on and on. Thank God I've ate a hearty lunch or else I'll still be hungry by now. It wasn't as what my uncle plan the birthday party would be but it's ok. At least we're all together as a family, that is what counts the most.

We came back home around 10.30pm and we're all tired. I went online to check on my friends when a crisis hits me. I didn't want to elaborate cos I didn't see the point of it. Being matured taught me a lot of things regarding life and friendship. I'm the kind of person who hates to mix business with leisure. Same goes to friendship. What stays in that category, stays there forever. They don't ever get mixed up. But then again, not everyone has the same principal or thinking as I do. I don't blame them for being immature or over sensitive. It's part of being a human. Surely I hope that the friendship I've build up for more than 6 years will stay as concrete as possible and not being ruined over by some petty things.

*It's sad when you have to let go of things you treasured the most because good memories are written in the heart and not on a piece of paper that can be erased.
